In the spring, when I made a commitment to blogging weekly, I had a few messages prepared in rough-draft form. Minor edits… click… blog appears. Those few have been done for weeks! Now it’s every Tuesday evening (often at 10:30, after I get home from my last class) or, like today, finishing on Wednesday, to fulfill that commitment!

I missed one in May. That’s OK occasionally. It’s MY commitment. I was ready to give myself permission to skip this one too… so much going on… extra teaching gigs… so many responsibilities… my yard… my garden. Besides all that, is anyone even reading these? Will anyone even notice? I was rationalizing that it would be OK to skip this one too. NOT!

That’s a slippery slope because I’m a really good rationalizer! I can eat that dessert… I work out for a living. My lesson is “balance in all things.” It’s what I teach. For me, it’s finding true balance. Not rationalizing.

Good Qi,

Nancy G
