When I get so busy that I’m three days behind in my tear-off calendar, I know it’s time for a change. Especially since each message is only two or three sentences AND based on the book “Meditations for Women Who Do Too Much”!

That’s a sign I need to “take time to smell the roses,” as my dad used to say.

Our roots... feeling at home

My roots are the woods. Literally. I was conceived at Camp Ledgewood, the Girl Scout camp in Peninsula. No – it was legitimate! My parents were the caretakers of the camp.

The forest is part of my cellular memory. I feel at home in the woods. It’s one of my favorite places to get rejuvenated. Where do YOU go to relax and refresh your body, mind and spirit?
